We’re KC Catering, an on-site catering company located in Fenton, MI. We’ve been around for near seven years now, and we’ve learned a great deal about our industry, our clients – and most importantly – about ourselves. We’ve developed hundreds of menus, served thousands of dishes and put smiles on faces from Detroit to Traverse City. What’s our secret? An insane dedication to both our products and services. Relentless dedication to staying atop our culinary game, to providing the best staff possible, and to being innovators in our industry. From our world HQ in Fenton, MI, we’re proud to call the Mitten State home! Great Lakes, friendly people and four seasons are what keep us going in this great state. We provide on-site catering to Livingston, Washtenaw and Oakland Counties and cities including Fenton, Howell, Brighton, Hartland, Milford, Ann Arbor and many many more. Don’t live in those areas? Most of our ingredients come from KC’s own family farm located in Fenton, MI. And if we don’t grow a certain crop, we seek out local growers to find the best, freshest ingredients for you.
Meet our chefs: a perfect husband wife-team.
Chef Chad is a man of many talents, and you’ll see him doing a multitude of jobs in the kitchen (and some out of the kitchen). Like your typical chef, he braises, sautés, roasts and broils, but Chad’s secret weapon is the grill. Whether he’s roasting a 250 lb. hog or flipping burgers, you can expect his grill skills to ‘wow’ even the toughest of crowds. Chad graduated from Schoolcraft college’s culinary arts program and has worked in kitchens for most of his adult life. Chad spent two years as a chef at Google’s state-of-the-art facility in Ann Arbor. But you won’t catch him bragging about his culinary experience. Strike up a grillside conversation with Chef Chad and you’ll find him to be one of the most down-to-earth people you’ll ever meet.
Chef Kathryn is the culinary brain that stokes the fires of creativity at KC Catering. Like a sail to a ship, Kathryn’s creativity pushes KC Catering into uncharted and unexplored waters, where we truly are able to grow as an organization. Kathryn graduated from Schoolcraft’s culinary arts program and is a Certified Sous Chef. She worked at the Inn at St. Johns Banquet Center, an award winning 4-diamond hotel and event center. In addition, she has personal cheffed for some of Detroit’s most prominent celebrity atheletes and influencers. Our Management Team Family
If you follow us on social media, you have seen Anne’s work in action. When she’s not snapping pictures, smithing words or thinking up new social campaigns, you can find Anne traveling the world, reading books on history and culture and spending time with friends and family.
Our resident marketer, sales guy and service coordinator, you can find Kevin hopping between the physical and digital space. He codes and updates our website, responds to inquiries, and occasionally gets his hands dirty as a front-of-house manager during catering events.
The way we see it, there are three major components to a successful catering event: The food, the service, and the drinks. Devon is in charge of the latter; planning, mixing and brewing beverages to perfection. Beyond being the bevie queen, Devon likes cats. A lot.
